Menu items

Menu of the Hnet Info FTP server application contains following items:

Server

  • Start server - Server activates and starts waiting for new connections. This command is accessible from context menu on FTP server icon at the system toolbar.
  • Stop receiving new connections - Server stops accepting new connections, but previous connections will be preserved. This command is accessible from context menu on FTP server icon at the system toolbar.
  • Stop Server - Server stops accepting new connections, and terminates all previous connections. This command is accessible from context menu on FTP server icon at the system toolbar.
  • Export Settings - Program settings are exported to chosen directory.
  • Import Settings - Program settings are imported from chosen directory. All users are disconnected and server is restarted with new configuration files.
  • Minimize to tray - Program is minimized to the system tray. Program window will disappear from the task list. This command is available on the FTP server icon in the system toolbar
  • Exit - Program will be terminated. If there are any connections, user is prompted for further activity. This command is available from the FTP server icon in the system toolbar.
  • Edit

  • Copy - Copies selected text (eventually selected part of the screen log) to the clipboard.
  • Copy complete screen log - Complete screen log is copied to the clipboard.
  • View

  • Connections - Opens window with list of active connections. This command is available from the context menu on the FTP server icon in the system toolbar.
  • Statistics - Opens statistics of users. This command is available from the context menu on the FTP server icon in the system toolbar.
  • Blacklist - Opens list of forbidden accounts (so-called blacklist).
  • Clear screen log - Clears the screen log
  • Settings

  • General - Opens dialog of general system settings.
  • Language - Opens dialog for user interface language change.
  • IP Access - Opens dialog for access restriction according to IP address.
  • IP Homes - Opens dialog for setting of addresses, which can be server run at.
  • Logging - Opens dialog for logging settings.
  • Messages - Opens dialog for settings of user messages at client connection or disconnection.
  • Links - Opens dialog for modyfying of symbolical links.
  • Users - Opens list of users and their settings.
  • Groups - Opens list of groups and its settings.
  • Services

  • Install - Installs FTP server as a system service.
  • Uninstall - Uninstalls FTP server as a system service.
  • Help

  • Help topics - Opens help in the language specified for user interface. If help file for this language is not accessible, dialog for help file open is displayed. Help file selected in this way is valid to the program termination.
  • About Hinfoserver - Opens window with information about this program.
